Where to Buy Fennel Tea Online

Buy fennel herbal teaFennel tea is an exceptional aid to digestion and of great benefit in the treatment of gastrointestinal problems like bloating, stomach cramps, IBS and excessive flatulence.

This page lists where to buy fennel tea, whole fennel seeds, capsules and extracts that are both high in the important volatile oils and at the lowest prices I could find.

The Best Fennel Tea for High Volatile Oil Content

The volatile oils in fennel seeds like anethole, fenchone and estragole are believed to be responsible for many of its digestive health benefits. Given this, it makes sense to look for tea bags or loose teas that have a strong concentration of high volatile oils.

Heather’s tummy tea is a particularly potent organic fennel tea formulated with a very high volatile oil content for the treatment of IBS and other digestive disorders.

It comes in both jumbo teabags and loose tea pouches and if it can help reduce the symptoms of IBS, it should certainly help with occasional bloating, intestinal cramps or flatulence problems.

Tea Blends with Fennel for Better Digestion

Yogi make a caffeine free herbal tea called Stomach Ease that combines fennel, licorice, peppermint, ginger, cardamom and coriander.

All of these ingredients are organic and there are some very positive reviews for this tea. It is best taken just before or during a big meal for preventing digestive problems.

Gia Herbs also have a herbal tea specifically made for relieving gas and bloating. The main ingredients are fennel seeds, licorice, chamomile and peppermint and it also contains fennel seed essential oil for an extra kick of those volatile oils.

Recommended Bulk Fennel Seeds Online

While tea bags are convenient, buying loose fennel seeds are usually much more cost effective.

Starwest Botanicals have non-irradiated, USDA certified organic whole fennel seeds, available for a very good price if you prefer to make your own tea from the fresh seeds at home.

Another benefit of buying whole fennel seeds is that you can also add them to your cooking for extra flavor along with all the digestion benefits. They can even be chewed for quick relief from tummy troubles.

Fennel Seed Oil Capsules

Even if you don’t like to drink fennel tea or add the seeds to your cooking you can still use fennel seed volatile oils in capsule form as a natural remedy for digestive problems.

These Tummy Tamers enteric coated capsules are a combination of peppermint, ginger and fennel oils and are reported to be very effective at relieving intestinal problems.

Importantly, with their enteric coating, these capsules only disburse once in the small intestine so there is no uncomfortable burping them back up or feeling them in your stomach.

In Summary

Fennel tea is not as well known as other types of herbal teas like peppermint or ginger but it can be particularly useful for stomach gas and digestion problems. Many people report it to be more effective than anything else they’ve tried before.

I buy my fennel seeds and most all my herbs/spices from PENZY’S. Very affordable, buy in bulk. I am a retired RN, and have dealt with IBS, bloating, flatulence, GERD, and that “full feeling” for@ 20yrs. Very well accquainted with prescribed medications that were ineffective with unwanted side effects. I have been using FS(fennel seeds) @ 6 months, and the change in GI status is drammatic. I get pannicky if my FS get too low. I roast them in a nonstick pan on med/high heat, stirring w/ wooden spoon. Don’t let them burn, just until they start to brown and you can smell a nutty/ licorice aroma. I would recomend everyone w/ GI issues try FS, of course after they have seen their MD.
